In this preview training, discussion topics will include the types of Chinese language picture books for preschool children, and how teachers can use these picture books to interest young children in learning and using the Chinese language. Methods to evaluate children’s reading and ways to help guide and improve their Chinese language literacy will also be explored.

About the trainer
With over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Anna Liu’s strengths lies in the development of resources for educators and preschoolers, to support their teaching and learning needs respectively. Her passion for Chinese Language education has led her to conduct teachers’ trainings and provide business consultancy services to many local preschools.

What do I need to prepare for this attend this preview session?
For the best learning experience, participants are advised to use a laptop to participate in the online preview session. We strongly encourage 1 device to 1 participant to ensure a better learning experience. Please ensure that your device is equipped features such as microphone, camera and speaker as well.
What platform will the preview be on?
The online preview will be conducted via Zoom. Please download the software on your device before the class. An information sheet on how to access Zoom will be sent out to registered participants prior to the class.
Will I get a certificate at the end of the online preview class?
A certificate of participation will be emailed to participants who attended the class. The certificate will highlight the topic introduced during the class.
What will the online previews be about?
The online previews is a complimentary 2-hour online training for participants to join in to learn and upgrade their skills and knowledge. Participants will gain a further understanding about the topic discussed and can choose to sign up for the full course scheduled at a later date.
