Synopsis
In this preview training, we will discuss the importance of music and movement in early childhood education by identifying the characteristics and behaviours of young children when responding to music. The session will also introduce the skills and elements of music and movement, that will be covered in the full training.

About the Trainer
Belinda has been actively engaged in the early childhood field for over 30 years, first as a teacher then rising to the role of a principal in a kindergarten. In her work as a music and movement specialist, storyteller and a drama teacher in both Singapore and Australia, she has gained much knowledge and skills in the creative arts which she shares in the modules that she teaches.

What do I need to prepare for this attend this preview session?
For the best learning experience, participants are advised to use a laptop to participate in the online preview session. We strongly encourage 1 device to 1 participant to ensure a better learning experience. Please ensure that your device is equipped features such as microphone, camera and speaker as well.
What platform will the preview be on?
The online preview will be conducted via Zoom. Please download the software on your device before the class. An information sheet on how to access Zoom will be sent out to registered participants prior to the class.
Will I get a certificate at the end of the online preview class?
A certificate of participation will be emailed to participants who attended the class. The certificate will highlight the topic introduced during the class.
What will the online previews be about?
The online previews is a complimentary 2-hour online training for participants to join in to learn and upgrade their skills and knowledge. Participants will gain a further understanding about the topic discussed and can choose to sign up for the full course scheduled at a later date.
